Guidelines regarding choosing Category of a new Blog Entry:
When composing a post, you see the Category list. If you have a choice between 2 or more categories, choose the Category that is the LOWEST in the list and fits this blog.
For example, if you are relating a personal anecdote about a certain rail journey, this post falls both within "Rail/Travel" and "Rail Anecdotes". Choose "Rail Anecdotes", since it appears LOWER than "Rail/Travel" in the Categories list.
Similarly,

an entry congratulating a member on achieving a certain number of PNR predictions fits both "Site-Related" and "Congratulations/Greetings" categories. In this case, choose "Congratulations/Greetings" since it appears LOWER in the list.
Since "Rail/Travel" is highest in the list, this category should be selected ONLY if the post does NOT fit any other category in the list.
Reason:
The new Blog Categories have been created with the explicit purpose that anyone who unchecks a specific category does NOT receive notifications and does NOT see posts falling in that category.
For example, if a member does not wish to see "Congratulations" posts, he/she will get irritated if this post has been labeled "Site-Related" and he is being notified about it (even though the congratulations are site-related).
The above guideline will ensure that members do not receive unnecessary notifications and get annoyed.
Thanks.

My error - it became an open post - but thanks to the Mod for finally replying. Will be awaiting this feature.
Can I also add another suggestion - many trains have time slot sharing with other trains, sometimes with more than one train during the entire course of its journey. Can we have a feature where we can easily spot/identify other trains which share its time slot, in various sections of IR?
