Airlines are private companies and this govt is only for businessmen like Ambani, adani, etc. These private airlines have done or going to do a huge huge business now. You know how?
1. Before lockdown many passengers booked flight tickets, some had done advance flights tickets also for April, May 2020 in March before lockdown. What thaes private airlines did you know i think? They gave 2 options to passengers-
1st option was if passengers cancel flight tickets then after cutting all airlines charges the balance will be refunded within 90 days to...

2nd option was passengers can keep their flight booking amounts as credit with airlines and can use it for next booking after flights start running again.
So, what you see if passengers don't cancel their tickets then this huge crores and crores of money of passengers are with airlines from last 2 months and the interest on these money is enjoyed by airlines companies. And if passengers cancel it then airlines fees and taxes are cut and the main fare or base fare is returned within 90 days to passengers accounts.
2. Before and during lockdown India bought many International travellers to India. International flights tickets were kept quiet high before lockdown and huge money was earned and this is not the end , all he passengers who were bought from other countries be it by govt or they came by themselves will return back once everything get normal will have to travel by flights. The flight peices in return of such lakhs of passengers whole returning will be earned again by private airlines. I am not against high ticket prices of International flights. I support that private airlines can take high ticket prices from International travellers because those passengers have money. But in this period many passengers are there in domestic sector who don't want to travel in trains as i have told yesterday in some other post that wearing face mask for a 17 to 24 hrs continuously in train travel is not possible. 1 moment of lapse you will get Corona in trains. In train travel be it AC or Non-ac trains travelling now is very risky. So, many passengers are waiting for domestic flights to start so that flight travel time is 2 hrs say during that 2 hrs you can maintain all precautions like wear face mask, etc and u will reach safely home. So, increasing flight ticket prices now will put burden on these passengers now. Govt should think of people first then about business and businessmens.
See i am not against govt. I appreciate all hard work done by govt during this time. But sometimes i think govt must think of poor, middle class people of India also. These people some lost jobs, some had salary cut, some don't know after lockdown will their jobs will be there or not. Many middle class people also nowadays travel in domestic flights. So, increasing minimum fare in flights now was not required i think. Yes restricting maximum fare to Rs 10000 is a good decision i say. Like say as per govt order as i can see and understand Base minimum fare is Rs 3500 + UDF+PSF+ GST= High minimum fare it will come. Whereas before lockdown Delhi to Kolkata flight ticket prices were minimum Rs 2000 to Rs 2400 (including all).
Everybody can criticise me on this but according to me its not needed now.
