Ville Parle(VLP) and Chennai Egmore/MS is not 160km and never were
The fastest MG train was Vaigai SF Express between Chennai Egmore and Madurai. It covered 493 km in just 7 hours and 5 minutes. It had special buffers and capable of running at 110 kmph.
