Posted a tweet addressing DRM-HYD division to start at least on train b/w KCG-KRNT route but no response so far. Any reason to not to start train in this route?

Types are running trains from Hyd Mumbai and other big cities. The initial rush for both sides has decreased now and demand is only from Metro cities to smaller cities and towns while reverse they are less occupancy you can observe the booking pattern after 20th june. Today Golconda Vja to SC 30% empty 600 avl against 1800 in booking for ticket of Rs 125. So you can see the demand is. Regarding corona AP is in better placed in taking precautions then Hyd they take data and check the traveller health and take swab and covid tests after 7 days and advise quarantine but I dont see any care in metros. Anyway buses may start next week between AP TS.
Agreed completely. But because of no trains, cabs are charging exorbitantly high. I feel running at least one train is needed for passengers who cannot afford such prices and require emergency travel. Near borders, many cabs are using alternate routes to avoid police checks and defeating the whole purpose. Trains and buses are making phone number/address compulsory so at least tracing is possible plus it is economical when compared to cabs. Goloconda running empty means people who have emergency are only opting for travel, well that's the whole purpose. In my opinion, Govt should run one train in all routes with limited stops.

They should have run KCG MYS SF which is fine for now..Maybe SCR is happy with SBC Raj between hyd and bangalore.
They can try any train like 12797/12785/17603 or at least Tungabhadra or hundri
