On the other hand Mayurakshi River has Dam in Massanjore in Dumka region of Erstwhile West Bengal (Now Jharkhand). Massanjore Dam is maintained by WB Govt Water & Irrigation department under WB Irrigation Minister.

Yes, it's correct,But Dumka was never a part of WB, it was a part of Santhal Parganas under the adminstration of the Bengal Presidency During British Era..
