Yes. A Janshatabdi or Intercity would do good job. For Shatabdi proposal, it could have been CBE - TVC/KCVL. It would get much patronage when compared to this proposed Shatabdi...

Yes agree. I was actually surprised as to where did the demand or need come from?. Maybe a simple JS or intercity express might have been better. Not sure if 15 AC chair coaches would be filled with just 4 stoppages. Return time from CBE-MAQ, there is MS-MAQ express and few others from SRR which run ahead of this. Passengers may not pay such a high fare as well when there are other options available. Dont know if any feasibility study etc is done before even considering such proposals

Maybe there are incentives/targets for premium train proposals. This ministry is all over the place trying to fit in as much of them as possible on random routes..
