Railway Electrification work of katni -satna 95 RKM in the territory of WCR completed on 29.06.2020. Total electrification completed by CORE in 2020-21 stands 181 RKM. Journey from Mumbai to Howrah/Patna will now be without traction change in between.

Such an important route... Electrification work should have been completed years before. Almost all UP and Bihar bound trains from Mumbai rely on this route.
