I don't remember exactly.But as far as i remember i have seen this train is having two diesel engines.does it really need 2 engines to haul a single train

Is it that one is for emergency purpose or for fuel backup or both run simultaneously??
Bot loco connected with cable (name don't know) for synchronization.
even mumbai howrah mail also run with twin diesel between ald to itarsi
yeah it sometimes required!! sometimes 24 coach train can't b pulled by a single WDM-3A loco. so WDM-3A twins are used n even WDM-2A twins are used.
