I booked a ticket for yesterdays travel from pune till trivandrum in 2nd ac kanyakumari exp. i first booked ticket on april 5th travel date 27th june. status as usual wl. 23 RLwl. yesterday morning status was 17 rlwl, 100% that wont confirm, so asked my friend to book tatkal ticket online and i went to station, cos irctc site is very fast from 8:00 till 8:30 thats the resaon . were 4 people ahead in my queue. at the time i came to counter it was 8:27 am. almost 30 mins for 4 people just imagine. and clerk told its WL 9, i told ok dont book, and asked my friend he told it was wl. 10 i told him not to book. but a ugly man approched me and told me pay rs.2000 extra and you get a confirmed tickety, but it can be any class that was clause. i told him thank you.
Now i have booked indigo connecting flight via chennai to Trivandrum tomrrow, and i paid only. rs. 5038.
if i book tatkal 2nd ac it will be almost rs.2500 plus if i had gone with tout almost same price as my flight ticket.
Railway has to do something for common peoples rights. tatkal is for common people not for touts.
Irgret i could have booked flight ticket much earlier so that i could have travelled in less amount.
