Ludhiana is punjab's largest city and has 1.6m population but why it has less originating trains and has only passing trains and there is no single pitline. No long distance originating trains. Why ?

Railway is developing Satellite station like chheharta with doubling and manawala.. so this will reduce burden on ASR station .. work is in progesss at chheharta station for doubling with electrification and washing lines..so in coming years .. ASR will decongest due to these satellite stations
yes with slight modification...it should run on daily basis...Three days through existing route and four days through ludhiana hisar churu sikar jaipur ajmer route
