The Mumbai- Chennai railway line is finally going to get a fully electrified double line come March 2021.
Once the project is completed, all segments of the Indian Railways Golden Quadrilateral and its diagonals will be fully doubled and electrified.

Such a shame for IR that a imp line was not left unelectrified and single
How can it be defined as Shame? If so there were so many routes which are still not electrified. Would you term them as Shame too?

When did doubling+Electrification start for this route ?
The route where both are pending, then electrification should be done first considering doubling. I like NR approach for this.

It is a clear-cut case of gross negligence. Less important routes are FEDL .Even third line is also laid. South West link is neglected.
