On my last Visit to Katra, J&K on asking the localities, the trains to Katra are expected to start very soon. Even the tracks and station from the above from the Helicopter seemed to be ready. If so it will be a great help to all the yaatris of Maa Vaishno Devi and it may also help to ease and reduce number of passengers at Jammu Railway Station.

Yes, we traveled by helicopter from Katra to Sanjichat, and the blue lines are platform sheds ;) The picture is not that clear as it was taken from just outside the helipad which is at a distance from the station :)
