On most of the engines it is written like WAP-7 GZB,on some WAP-4 MGS,WAP-4 CNB.Like that.most of the station names are perhaps location of DRM office.some exceptions to it are like CNB.
So is it the name of shed.??
Generally shed names are mostly cities with DRM office.is it so?or it is a big railway juntcion.what is the criteria for the same.

CNB, GZB, MGS, HWH, GMO etc are the places where these Locos are homed which means these locos are allocated to these places for checking, hauling trains, POH's, repairs etc. This doesn't have to b connected with DRM zones as most them don't have DRM's but are handled by the nearest HQ. :)
