Well, my question. We've booked AC Chair car seats from Secundrabad to Tirupathi. My Question here is as AC Chair cars look like bus, will we sit facing the train moving in forward direction or will we sit facing the opposite side train is going?
Someone who has had a journey can answer this question, no need of only officials to answer cause its a simple one who has experienced the trip.

It can be on both side.. half the coach ha seats facing forward and other half's seats face backwards. Though in one study it has been recommended that its better to have a seat facing opposite to the running direction of the vehicle. Its much safer in case of a mishap than a seat facing the direction of running.
Thank you for your kind replies mates. Thank you for the information provided.
Actually, I guess the train comes to Secunderabad from Basar & then goes to Warangal, which means, it has to go back in the direction it comes (Cause I've traveled both to Basar and Warangal, and I found that on both occasions, train moved towards same end.
So, Hoping for the best (i.e, hoping fr the train to travel in the direction we sit:p)
Thankyou...

Mr.Mech,
your point is right .Which facing travel (Engine or Guard) will be comfortable and why?.Most of the passengers starts sleeping, when train moves in constant speed

Look.. train does not start at once. so if you are facing the engine side then you will not feel any sudden jerk. But train may apply brakes suddenly, so it may give a sudden jerk while stopping. So, if you face engine side, then on stopping you wil fall forward, and if hte jerk is strong then there are chances that you may even fall from your seat. but if you face guard side, then on sudden stopping you will just get pushed into the cushion at your back and will not fall below.
I hope you people don't get frustrated with all this kind of non-sense post, but it helps many times. :)

Dear Mr. Crack!
It is not a non-sense post.
Yet if is so, one should prefer the seats in Buses, Cars etc. to be backlooking (excepting driver, but).
