YouTube Video by Mr. Ritadhi Shankar & he says : "Some rather unexpected action from Eastern Railways. Our 12260 New Delhi Sealdah Duronto Express stopped at Asansol for an unscheduled halt of five minutes, and subsequently creaked out of the station at snail's pace. We stopped just after clearing the station. After remaining stationary even after 10 minutes, we were informed of a minor fire in the brakeband of our Ghaziabad WAP7. The fire was minor and folks tended to it with hand-held fire extinguishers. In the midst of this, there was a shrill honk from behind and listening to my sixth sense, I rushed to the door and sneaked in between two curious onlookers. Approaching us steadily was a fresh Ghaziabad WAP7, screeching loudly and yelling at people to move away from the tracks. Accompanying it was the familiar sound of multiple generators whirring away. The weekly 12306 Howrah Rajdhani...

via Patna coolly slid past us through the fourth line, and proceeded on its merry way towards Howrah. The staffs of both the trains, as seen in the video, were thoroughly enjoying this very rare overtake!"

My YouTube Comment on this video : So it's concluded that 3-Phase Locos now run on Madhupur - Patna - Mughalsarai Route & a Rajdhani Train will always be given priority over a Duronto Train :-D

@474837-4  @guest
Excess of WAP-5 should result in giving the extra locos to sheds like LKO, MGS, HWH & TATA. Why should GZB & BRC have all the fun ? :-D

I partially agree. Why only to LKO, MGS, HWH, & TATA? There are other important sheds too.

I have named some of the sheds as these just as starters. Other important sheds can also follow suit after them. As we know that Locos by IR are commissioned for particular shed(s) in a phase wise manner. Here, I just wanted to say that only 2 sheds till now which are BRC for BCT-ADI/NDLS-ASR Route(s) and GZB for BBS/HWH/RNC/GHY - NDLS/ASR/JAT Route(s) via PNBE/GAYA are just not enough. IR needs to manifold it's Rolling Stock for meeting the introduction of new trains & frequency increases in old ones :-P
