Can I get telescopic benefit in 18183 and 13318 from Madhupur to Howrah reseved upto asnsol then Asansol to Chuchura.

well the rules r strange and cant be explained. I ws refused tkt from sbg to mdn via hwh...366+140...and granted sbg to kgp via hwh...366+120...though mdn is 20km far from kgp...so u r correct when u say,book it to know it:)

if this is so, then the 500km rule which you mentioned in #5 is not really true in all cases, right?
Once i Booked Ticket under Telescopic Benefit in 2A.
From KPD to MAS by CBE - JP Exp 130 km and From MAS to NDLS By GT Exp around 2200km they issued a Blank Paper Ticket. In First Ticket only they Clearly mentioned that KATPADI to NEWDELHI Via Chennai Central
Actual Fare for this Combination is around 3000
with telescopic Fare its only 2350....

well again it is ambiguous. What is onward and what is break. If its onward,no 500km rule applies. Onward is defined as waiting for few hours(less than 24) to board a connecting train...but then if it is applied,my tkt for vskp to tpty via bza shud hv bn accepted as the waiting time ws less than one hour. If that is not enough,even my plea for hwh to ypr via bbs should not have been rejected. Even then waiting time less than a couple of hours...

When i Traveled last time in GT Exp My Co- Passenger Booked a Telescopic Fare Benefit Ticket From Arakkonam to Newdelhi Via Chennai in the Combination of 12640 brindavan Exp and GT exp
Departure of 12640 from AJJ is 1855 and it arrive 20.25 @ MAS as per old time table
and GT departs from MAS...
