I think Railways should start a Shatabdi / Superfast Intercity train between Pune and Vadodara which will complete the journey within 8hrs with halts at lonavla , kalyan, vasai, vapi, surat, bharuch. I think it will be a sure shot super hit train.

surat-pune janshatabdi should strt instead of shatabdi via vapi....dis train will b super duper hit...hope wil run in diwali...
completely agree nikhil sir but only IRF members will hear this but not IR officials
Janshat needs to be intro in budget, but they can run as special to cater rush , if special gets good response then it will be made regular , hence write to railway officials to start a special train between st and pune....
Sometimes they listen also, for ex i wrote and spoke about jodhpur railway to a train to uttarakhand for dehradoon , and a train to rameswaram from jodhpur , they extended ranikhet exp ( although on a diff route from one i proposed ) and they started to coimbatore ac but from bikaner ..
Not only till surat, but atleast till BRC, as there are passengers from Bharuch, BRC and ANND too.
