You’re searching in your grandmother’s trunk when you find FIVE (5) short chains each made of FOUR (4) gold links. You get the idea that if you combined them all into one big chain of 20 links, you’d have a nice gold necklace. So you take it to a jeweller, who tells you the cost of making the necklace will be Rs. 1000 for EACH gold link that has to be worked on - either for breaking or joining or both.
