Yard remodeling of GD yard have three phase. In first phase we seen gauge conversion of GD-BRK loop line with construction of PF 4&5. In second phase we are seeing that linking of PF 4,5,6,7&8 with both main and loop line within RRI system is going on. Last phase have other new platforms, tracks, automatic coach washing plant and other miscellaneous works.

The extension of GD-BSB Intercity upto Bahraich and an express train from Bahraich is already proposed, however it is pending due to non connectivity of BRK loop line with PF...
