Very true. Hope this is a temporary decision as it's the preferred train between DDN to LKO. Though it is not given the priority as per it's history (started in 1925, around same time as Punjab mail, Golden temple mail) yet it is highly popular on its entire route.
Lets see if Ddn passengers section raise this issue with concerned authorities or not.
Is railway planning to change both trains name also, now calling them kumbh & Doon Express is unreasonable.
Yes it will be surely raised if it is not a temporary decision.
So far Kumbh & Upasana got different stoppages & hence different Number. The common number need common stoppages.
