Though agree NR trains especially during South and West bound trains had lacked its service during ICF days . Pr LHBfication ke baad service thodi improve hui rehengi . Many of people choose that trains which is originated from chennai

I have travelled in chandigarh kochuveli KeSK, it was running with Full capacity in Sleeper and 3AC coaches .
2 AC remain partially vacant.
And all Delhi to south Bound train almost take 26+ hours so most of the People prefer Flights . That's the reason behind vacancy in 2nd and first AC coaches.

Even you will find vacant seats in higher class AC coaches in All south Bound biggies .
Not at all... Asr kochuveli maine tto khali kabhi nahi dekhi..Have travelled so many times to kota in it.. kafi advance main booking krna padta tha .. N I used to check charts of this tto achi khasi booking hoti thi always coz this train is the only connection of Punjab/haryana with kerala and Konkan area n ismain Kozhikode, kayankulam, ernakulam jane wale bhar bhar ke hote they in those charts... One of my favorite trains
