Railways should start premium fare tkt in trains with double/trible rate to earn revenue instead of tatkal.. Now a days tatkal became an business point right from standing in que. 1. que fellow sell his line ,,2 the agent boys in the que book n number of tkts. Instead of paying money to thrid person why cant we pay it to railways. This special tkt wl be costly and who ever in urgent need they buy instead of going by buses/cabs or other mode.

Again we are back to from where we started.Do you think the problem of touts/agents will end with this. This country has population of 120 crores. Unless the supply/capacity of trains/berths is increased to meet the burgeoning demand of railway tickets, no solution would be permanent solution. As you raised issue of having premium tickets, we pay a similar premium when we purchase tatkal. same way when premium tickets if introduced will see huge demand , and ultimately touts/agents will come again to picture, as we will be dependent on them
first, railways is doing business only and not social service. until n unless the more n more rakes are manufactured and supplied this problem never gonna resolve even if railways bring some so called premium fare ticket.
