If NH constructed their highway don't faced any problem but railway ke liye wanhan pahad h nadi h badh aa jaaega etc etc anyway agar ek bed ban jaae to 100 km reduce ho jaaegi bas itna hi kehna tha.

This is precisely the reason why heavy freights are unable to go via Chopan and Chunar but rather have to take the longer Garhwa Road Sonnagar route

Loco reversal nhi hai. Aur road, rail ka slope gradient /curve alag hota hai. Not impossible, but not easy too. Kashmir/hilly states mein NH azadi ke pehle se hai lekin rail pahuchane ke liye papad belna pad raha hai. Aur yaha to alternative route (though long) already hai. Jab IR ko short route mein RoR dikhega to kuch sochega.

Ab chopan jayegi to LR krna hi hoga. I think they donot want to bypass chopan.
