Yes definitely, I too believe BSB needs its own dedicated connectivity to HWH/SDAH via GC, either in morning like a VB or an overnight SF, Vibhuti alone isn't enough to cater both cities while impending tickets are also sourced from smaller halts like Zamania, Dildarnagar and Buxar
It was done because load differences at BSB station at that time, ER proposed the extension and was immediately accepted by NER. Although fair chunk of GNWL stayed with BSB as it is still the most revenue generating station, even more than PRRB.
Yes it was extended from bsb but this train caters also many small halt like stations in ECR which is in gnwl thus not benefitting too much for bsb,prrb thus there is a need of dedicated overnight via gc from bsb or extend Patna Shalimar Duronto/garib rath whose rake idle for 12+ hours in hoarding park.Upper India was not prefferable because of long distance and time taking.
One vande Bharat will surely run between bsb-howrah most probably via gc.but one overnight also needed as many people's prefers overnight journey.
