Book as early as possible.
While booking for 1A you'll not get any seat number. Seat number will be allotted during chart preparetion.
If there're two member in your ticket and either one is female or two then you'll be eligible to get a coupe. Since coupes are less im compare to cabins. First come first serve is applied.

sab kismat ka khel hai.maximum chances rahta hai you will get a Cabin even if many Coupes are Vacant.
when i was travelling to DBG,I selected Coupe in BSK.at the time of booking pure coach me 14-15 seats vacant tha fir bhi hamko Cabin diya.But later TTE shifted me to a Coupe,as many of the coupes are vacant.

I want coupe only, no cabin. How to be sure of one getting coupe?
