Hello,
Got 2 questions regarding Boarding Station entered in an e-ticket.
I booked an e-ticket with reservation from Ahmedabad to Bangalore, but at the time of booking I gave the boarding point as Surat (Surat is 5th stations after Ahemadabad towards Bangalore).

One clarification is needed..... Boarding Point specefied at the time of booking if other than 'FROM station would be treated as Boarding Point change?

Solution: Get a ticket from ADI to ST and board your coach and seat at ADI and pray the seat should not be allotted to anyother upto ST. even if allotted till st you can stand near the door provided if you put a &co with TTE..

Thanks for the quick and detailed reply.
Just from a little more clarity:
We can change the boarding point only once and this includes the setting of boarding point while booking the ticket as well!

true, BP change while booking or after booking, both are counted as one change(maximum allowed)
