Its surprising that you are relying on these Fixed Template Replies of RM.
Well, personally I don't see much benefit of having separate train between Krnt - tpty/hup. Instead, vizag/mumbai connectivity is essential at this moment as there is not even a single train.
FYI, Getting PM at Kurnool was one of the proposal mooted by ex MoSR and it didn't move because he resigned to protest new state formation otherwise it would have materialized. Though, there is some negligence about doubling/pitline via/at Kurnool but Kurnool has 3 dedicated trains to Hyderabad.

Till Pre covid time there used to run CCT/BZA - RC/KRNT triweekly services. Proposed KRNT - VSKP daily ONT can use that path with slight adjustments.
Provided VSKP agrees to take the PM of that rake.

In Guntur division, Repalle has higher passenger traffic, as compared to Nandyal. But, Repalle also doesn't have any Intercity train, to any of the city.
So, introduction of train on Indian Railways, is dependent on various factor(s), which include but not limited to - Commercial Justification, Operational feasibility, Availability of rolling stock etc.

At least as per wiki, repalle is D station where as nandyal and nalgonda are referred as B class stations. May be this reference is not latest (not sure)
