Apart from Vande Bharat, it's the only train permitted to clock 130 kmph between NDLS-LDH.

Really slow paced work from both NR and RB , they should have cleared all Shatabdis for 130 KMPH btw UMB and NDLS atleast
Even with 110 kmph, the Shatabdis and other non stop trains still maintain a pretty decent average, since there are very few TSRs and PSRs between LDH-NDLS. There are hardly any slowdowns enroute.
Sir definitely there wont be any TSR and very less PSR if track is fit for 130 KMPH , the same was for CNB - NDLS , i have many a times seen 110 fit train (Gorakhdham) cover it in 5 : 30 hrs. I think increasing MPS will decrease the running time by 20-30 minutes , this makes Rail look alot more attractive than Expressway or Airway.

Almost 2 years ago, there was a proposal to upgrade MPS of few important trains and it was supposedly approved as well. But still we are yet to see any MPS upgradation as of now.
