I just read an article regarding the tragedy and in one of the blogs it is there as "All the theories of Railway and Police officials are laughable. First a Fire in ceiling fan never spreads so fast and downwards.This is why firemen are taught to crawl on floor when there is smoke present. Secondly berth no 41-44 are not near toilet and so fire in the berth can not spread to toilet so fast. Thirdly batteries under the coach and coach floor is separated by iron structures and sheets so fire propagating thru floor of coach is impossible.Only way fire can propagate thru coah at very fast rate is some inflammable liquid is kept under berth and ignited by constant movement in plastic jar.
