Everyone knows if a train is running late, ONLY RailFans know WHY it is late

Not possible at all for the current time being. As discussed by fellow members about the meter gauge and broad Guage issue. Another point is Dhaka Akhaura Line is severely neglected and there are incidents of derailments happening daily.
First they have to change the whole section with dual gauge and then they have to strengthening the lines for operations. Currently It's main target to connect the North East with Chittagong port.

i guess Agartala-Akhaura is BG since CORE issued RE tender for this section

Partially BG , From IR Border to Agartala it's BG and From BR border to Akhaura it's Dual Gauge. Core already completed the TSS in Gangasagar station for Akhaura Agartala Section. ( Pic attached )
