as adviced call irtc/send mail and keep the copy and show it to tte,,,,,as per rule it is not allowed.and tte wl be in trouble if some spcl squad verifies. due to accidents(recent) they r very paticular in checking

I suppose, he will not get a good answer. IRCTC customer care executives know very less about these tricky situations. I called them for various matters sometimes, but they try to just avoid that and move round and round between known facts, but do not say clearly that they don't know what I need to know.

But, if he sends an email, and carries with himself a copy of it, then, as rangcharylutk** sir has pointed out, it will help him to establish his point.

I completed the journey. The TTE did not noticed the gender issue. I said my seat Number and he asked if u have ID Proof. Isaid yes. and he left......Thxxxx all for your support n suggestions....
