With junction point connection of mainline as well as kota(guna)-katni mainline..

Meanwhile malkhedi lies on katni-bina section later single line bypass tracks connecting katni by avoiding BINA JN to jhansi mainline so that trains can bypass BINA and avoid reversal .. take bypass towards katni
And also malkhedi has connection over the guna mainline later.. all single line act as freight bypass and few trains bypass..
Hence it was made junction and later value increase
