I'm not saying its a bad decision. I was just saying that at present this train is running with moderate occupancy not so high & not so low therefore in order to provide alternate connectivity this train should definately run atleast once or twice a week via jhansi to cater the other major towns of bundelkhand.
I have traveled in this train last week when it was running 4 days a week, it is coming with good occupancy from Prayagraj and Chitrakoot and then totally get packed from Banda station. if your waiting is more than 30 in SL and 10 in 3A. your ticket will not confirmed. Hence train is running with good occupancy.
Infact Ek Special via Jhansi start bhi hui thi but fir corona hua aur cancel ho gayi wo train. Khajuraho ke paas zada pax nahi hai that's true pax is only from Tikamgarh and Chattarpur. Ek train via Jhansi se bhi chale toh thik hoga because Jhansi-Indore Link bhi cancel ho gayi hai.
Kashi Mahakaal is a premium train, A regular train is also required.
Jhansi-Indore Link cancel ho chuki hai.
Malwa, Indore-Patna/Kamakhya, Indore-BE Express bachi hai ab bas. Aur teeno mein kitni waiting hoti hai ye sabko pata hai.
