Indian Railways passengers hoping to upgrade from uncomfortable non-air-conditioned sleeper coaches to the new 3 Tier AC Economy class are in for a disappointment. The national...
** IR may blow a million trumpets that they will offer cheap ac berths so that non ac travellers could travel avail these and enjoy a travel!!!!
** But keeping base fares of the so-called AC3 economy class just 8% lower and keeping the super fast and reservation charges same, the actual reduction shall be even lesser say7% only.
** IR expects SL class pax who pay Rs 321/- for 500kms and cannot afford AC3 fare Rs 833/- can easily afford only Rs.775/- for the cramped AC3 coach!!!!
