Ongole ke ante ento..EE has more preferential treatment by railways in halts allotment so no surprise so EE will get it soon in anyway..

There is no benefit to IR in terms of number of travellers boarding at any of the stations enroute to VJA except RJY for long distance trains. Even a daily train like AP exp with GN quota upto EE the total number of travellers boarding enroute doesn't cross 100 and most days it's 50 travellers for 6halts. Today the number is 65 avg 10 travellers which doesn't qualify as per new rule of 50 travelers.
