Is there any concrete proposal from SER aka Adra divn to ER/hwh divn for inter connect at Msae & Gmmg.
Since Rail over Rail is an distant dream, limited no of train access with provision of interlocking should be given a priority.
TAK-VSU is on jeopardy as land acquisition in WB is not possible. SER must go all out for this project.

Railway line construction between Maynapur and Baragopinathpur of TAK-VSU section has already begun. Tender attached. Between Baragopinathpur-Joyrambati-Kamarpukur land aquisition is complete. Only geophysical study about flood water retention is left to complete. After this final alignment alongwith water underpasses will be finalised.
The only stubborn hurdle is Bhabadighi. Villagers want the line to pass straight, north of the pond as per original plan. Railways denies material modification and new earthwork for 5 km again between Kamarpukur and Goghat. 🥲

Yes that's planned. Even both the DRMs have visited the site to review the west end connection location. Unless the HBC 4th line alignment is approved, the connection with MSAE-BQA cannot be made.😓
