** IR has failed to give connectivity between Raipur/Durg region with Indore in spite of good traffic potential.
** Extension to Narmada Express to Durg is very old demand, stillextension to Raipur is also welcome, but passengers will avoid going from Raipur to Indore via this train due to longer route and much longer journey time.
** A new at least triweekly train on Indore-Nagpur-Durg-Raipur/Bilaspur or A triweekly Indore-Itarsi-Jabalpur-Gondia-Durg-Raipur/Bilaspur train is a better solution.
