A brief history of Shramjeevi SF Express...from 2nd October,1990 to till date....

• Shramjeevi SF Express was introduced as 2401/2402 Patna - New Delhi Shramjeevi SF Express on 2nd October, 1990 from Patna Jn. It was operated by NR.
• Nalanda Express (Rajgir - New Delhi) was introduced on 26th October, 2001..used to linked/de-linked with Shramjeevi Express at Patna Jn....

• Shramjeevi Express got extended upto Rajgir in 2003 as ECR train with no. 2391/2392 (interchanged from Magadh Express), after Rajgir Coaching Depot started functioning. The Nalanda Express link was permanently cancelled.
• Now, the trains runs as 12391/12391 Rajgir - New Delhi - Rajgir Shramjeevi SF Express, operated by ECR.
