These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because of their myriad problems, and so wish to simply use their email to login to IRI. As such, it is a major headache for us, to cater to these requests one by one.
Very soon, for every FB-based IRI account, members...
more... will automatically get a prompt to convert their account to an email-based account. We shall provide a 2-month window for this migration. After a couple of months, ALL users must simply use their email+password to login.
FB login will be DISABLED in a couple of months.
The old simple system of email+password wins in the end!!!

But here's the deal, real soon, all the peeps with FB-based IRI accounts will get a message asking them to switch their account to an email-based one. We'll give them like 2 months to make the switch. After that, everyone's gotta use their email and password to login, no exceptions.
In a couple of months, no more FB login, it's gonna be disabled.
In the end, the old school system of email and password comes out on top!!!
