GomtinagarTerminal~ 134 blog postsI was thinking railmin should develop Utraitia railway station as a new station for Lucknow on terms of ANVT . the bypass line via transport nagar to alamnagar and then subsequently to delhi/amritsar will help in diverting trains from this station and also ease traffic at Charbagh (LKO) railway station. Moreover govt can also start/ terminate trains from here. Share your opinion friends !
For Originating trains going to BBK/cnb/MB LJN is fine.
For originating trains going towards SLN/ RAIBARELI ALAMNAGAR can be used.
Reduction of load will occur once Bypass is started.
Utraitia will be too far away. Alamnagar better choice.

agreed bhai...however Alamnagar , i think has less space for further expansion..and utratia is well connected too and is near to airport
Only a few trains originating from LKO towards SLN/RAIBARELI, Charbagh shouldn't have an issue in handling those.
Charbagh is the best location. Near metro.
Utraitia will be inconvenient.
A few long distance trains can be given 5 min halt at

Utraitia is a very good option considering closeness to Gomti Nagar, Raibareli road and Amausi airport all of which are highly densely populated areas of Lucknow. Can serve as a terminating / originating station for trains towards PRYJ, BSB side & for trains coming from / to MB via Alamnagar.
