S Majumder 2212 blog postsFrequent late by 1 h (on avg.) compared to HWH and SDAH Raj. Today also it is running 1 h 21 m late. What is the reason behinds its usual delay? Can it regain its past glory when it used to reach bang on time (before time also!!)?

the number of trains on this route are not getting any lesser.. so unless max speed is increased, it will be more late
Its really sad to see 12260 NDLS-SDAH Duranto Exp. gets late by 1 h (avg.) frequently. Does change in the departure time solve the problem?
Fromm DDJ ER should take care for rajdhani& other Express train upto SDAH. I watch that after DDJ signal room neglects Express train & pass Local train. Near Bediapara all the Express stand near 20 minutes also
It is only for Bongaon section. I suggest to divert some Bongaon & Barasat Local towards Prinsepghat & Kolkata station. Bongaon Local should also start from Kolkata terminal & should use platform no. 5. As a result platform no 3 & 4 will be released for other trains like Main section & dankuni section. Express train can also move smoothly on Line no 4 & 3 form DDJ to Sealdah. I also suggest to make new rail lines from Kankurgachi to Sealdah Platform no 9A & 9B. Some old rail track also exist where lalgola Pass, Uttarbanga , Asansol Intercity stands for carshed
