FraudsterConman 7672 blog postsIncrease of flights between Kolkata & Chennai + implementation of bad timings of trains in Howrah & Chennai is making Howrah Chennai route a loss making one. See Absurd TT of Down Chennai Mail, Tiruchhi Express, Kannyakumari Express arrival at Howrah, it doesn't make sense. Inconvenience of Passengers have increased considerably.

still Howrah Delhi train route gets more passengers than Howrah Chennai route
✈️Flight Fare is cheaper than AC train,, Flight takes 2 hours,, Train yakes 36 hours,, so People prefer Flight
Also because of the zero based TT effect, the running time has become a bot more faster. Just wondering if an earlier dep from MAS for Chennai-Howrah mail can be looked at so that at least it can reach around 10pm at Howrah. Likewise Coromandel should be reverted bacl to its old TT from Chennai now that it will be terminatng at Shalimar. Ideal scenario will be to have two separate rakes for ech of them
after 10 pm, Transportation in Howrah/Shalimar/Santragachhi Stations are negligible
