है कि सिमडेगा में दो मालगाड़ी ट्रेनों की आमने-सामने जबर्दस्त टक्कर हो गई. घटना हटिया-वांडामुंडा रेल खण्ड के कुरकुरा रेलवे स्टेशन के पास की है जहां दोनों मालगाड़ी दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गई. मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, कुरकुरा स्टेशन के लाइन नम्बर तीन में रांची की ओर से मालगाड़ी गुजर रही थी. लेकिन इसी दौरान राउरकेला बानो की ओर से रांची की ओर जानेवाली मालगाड़ी भी सिग्नल तोड़ते हुए तीन नम्बर लाइन पर आ गई. नतीजतन, दोनों ट्रेन आमने सामने टकरा गई.
