रेलफैनों की तो बात ही कुछ और है

Even road condition play a big roll here. Metro has been started in that area which always face traffic Jam and congestion. Peoples do not have any good alternate sharing transport options. sharing autos are too much uncomfortable.

Having ridership of 30000 on first day is definitely a good sign. Lets see what happens but Metro will surely be successful in future.

Good to see kolkata metro at 2nd position. Only metro runned by Indian Railways. Many new routes r comming up in Kolkata metro in next 2-3 years. Ridership will increase more.

Noida, Nagpur and Ahmedabad are in bad condition. Noida metro will be better after Aqua line will reach to Greno west. It is shocking to see Ahmedabad at lowest position.

Madras travels more in bus, local train, 2, 4 wheelers. The metro route is yet to be completed. Madhavaram to siruseri and Triplicane to Poonamallee is planned. I believe that is not enough far away areas like gummidipoondi badly needs augmentation of local train route or addition of buses or addition of metro route. Areas like sriperumbudur also needs coverage.
