what is the maximum buffering time that is allowed at a station if we want to change the train

on single ticket it will be 24hrs or less,or else break journey rule is implied, if two separate ticket then no restriction
sir i know that for a break journey the ticket has to be endorsed at the breaking station.

yes there is an addition to old rule
Inentation to break journey is to be advised at the time of original booking and not after obtaining reservation.
