** Way back in 1989 when extension of shatabdi to BPL was announced, NDLS-BPL was done in 7:40 hrs (probably timing was NDLS dep 6:2) BPL 14:00-14:40 and NDLs arr 22:00.
** MPS was 140kmph on Delhi-Agra, 120 kmph upto JHS and till BPL it was just 100 (may be 110kmph on a portion).
**It was reported in local newspapers that CR officials were afraid that condition of JHS BPL track was not good and there were 60-70 kmph restriction on the section. Still the Shatabdi was able to maintain...
