Railfan_SRDiv^~ 2538 blog postsRailways can cancel this train and make 12697/98 daily (4 days via Kottayam and 3 days via ALLP) PM maintenance at TVC div SR Zone. Can leave MAS at 15:15 PM to arrive TVC at 06:00 AM. Leave TVC around 19:15 PM and arrive MAS at 10:20 AM
Trivandrum alone cannot fill this train and SF being at the same time will be difficult on other side Ernakulam needs additional train to arrive at 500 and TVM 900 so that the enroute stations have morning arrival before mail. so dep at 1830 after office hours at MAS will do good demand and arrival in Chennai should be at 800.
Trivandrum chennai mail is already arriving at 07:50 AM at Chennai. This train belongs to TVC div by this train I mean 12697/98 belongs to TVC div , in that case it cant stand in MAS for longer time . This train and 12695/96 is more of a day connectivity for TN and overnight from PGT to TVC . TVC mail is more of a day connectivity at KL and night at TN.
