This is a station in Kharagpur. Trains coming from BBS side and going to TATA/ADRA side stop here instead of going to KGP to avoid a loco reversal.

Jakpur isn't in Kharagpur. Even the address of Jakpur in IRI shows it as such. KGP is just a railway town and West Midnapur is the district. All such small stations would be categorized under the 'West Midnapur' bracket rather than KGP. Going by your logic, Delhi possibly will have hundred plus stations if we contain all the insane suburban stations that lie in the so called 'gramin' area which lie so far outside the city limits that they are practically villages in themselves.
