GAMA being in Doubling works. With most of the portion being doubled, Railways can introduce good trains atleast weekly trains between Hyderabad - Goa and Banglore- Goa.
Hyderabad - Goa : Present train journey between these 2 places takes 15 hours.
Problem is MAHBUB NAGAR - DHONE SINGLE LINE for a distance of 184 km. Kacheguda - Mahbub Nagar stretch for a distance of 105 km is doubled. And most importantly DHONE JUNCTION - LONDA JUNCTION for a distance of 417 km is doubled now.So if atleast the train runs Kacheguda to Dhone at an average speed of say 50 kmph.
From Dhone till Londa the train can pick up a good speed of say 63 -67 kmph. The distance of 417 km between Dhone - Londa can be covered in just 6 - 6.5 hours. From Kacheguda - Dhone time could be 5 - 5.5 hours. Londa - Madgaon can be covered in 1.5 - 2 hours. Total time taken between Hyderabad and Goa could be around 12.5 to 13.5 hours. And most importantly timings. Train can start at 7 :30 PM at Kacheguda just after Kacheguda - Mysore SF Express. This train would definitely be profitable.
