Vaigai express departing Madurai and swiftly glides over Vaigai River on the day of Lord Shri Kallazhagar Procession into Vaigai river. After 2 years Chithirai festival is being held at Madurai. Lord Meenakshi Sundareswarar wedding happened with public crowd and Lord Kallazhagar procession into Vaigai river held today (16 April 2022) Lakhs of public gathered into Vaigai river to witness the grand event.
